I live in Philadelphia, creating experimental music for performers and electronics. My work connects formal and sonic aspects of popular music with classical performance practice and sound art. More recently, I’ve focused on projects which transform the traditional concert space or leave it behind completely.
I’m currently creating an evening-length, theater work for actor-vocalist, mixed chamber ensemble, electronics, lighting, and video. I’m also collaborating with visual artist Michelle Lopez and sound artist Eugene Lew on The Joplin Project, which features a robot in choreographed motion beneath a hemispherical video projection. |
